WE all know the story, Jesus, the Son of God, came as a human baby. But why? Why did He have to leave heaven and His God-powers and live a perfect human life? This first lesson answers that question as God’s Top Secret Plan for redeeming mankind. God created man to be a friend. A real friend is one by choice. SO, God took a big risk and gave mankind a choice to walk in His ways or not. We all know the story; it didn’t take long for man to sin.

BUT – before Christmas, before Adam, before the creation of the world, God had a plan. Ephesians 1:4 says, “Even before He made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in His eyes.” Jesus agreed before the foundation of the world, to come to earth as a human, so He could take the penalty of sin for us.
